This rifle is a US model 1816 Hall 52 cal made at Harper Ferry arsenal.

1st non breach loading US Milliary Rifle .Barrel is rifled and given to special units , saw some action in Civil War .

These rifles started out Flintlocks and were converted to percussion by the factory .

Works well , I shot it a few times with a reduced load , easy to load , like a pistol not a rifle .
